Recessed sports hall luminaire ESHL
Recessed closed single luminaire, ball-resistant, for fluorescent lamp T16. Stable luminaire housing in white powder-coated steel, colour similar to RAL9016. End caps with additional break-off openings for mains cables or through wiring. Prefitted top reflector in high-reflectance super-purity aluminium with silver coating, matt anodised. Narrow frame in extruded sectional aluminium with panel in tough UV-stabilised PMMA. Frame held invisibly in the luminaire housing by spring catches, hinges down on both sides with automatic connection to the earth conductor.
With electronic ballast (EVG), warm start lamps, 220-240 Volt, 0/50-60 Hz
and internal connector block.
Prepared for mounting in different ceiling systems using suitable fixing kit (accessory). When mounting using fixing kit 10-713 or 10-717, with 3 x 28/54 Watt lamps or more, a 6-point fixture is required. As a set contains 4 parts, the required number x must be determined:
X = (n x 6) / 4, whereby n = number of luminaires and result x is rounded up to the next highest number. For compensation of uneven ceilings, with 3 x 28/54 Watt lamps or more, 6-point fixture is possible. Ball-proof ceiling surface mounting or pendant fixture of the 2, 3 and 4-lamp luminaires are only possible with 4-point fixture. When using trunking, 2 parallel rails are required for this.
Note regarding wiring:
Generally all lamps are wired to L1.
414/24 luminaires are operated with a single EVG.
In 3-lamp luminaires, one outer and the central lamp are operated via a twin lamp EVG and the second outer lamp via a single lamp EVG.
In 4-lamp luminaires, one outer and one central lamp are each operated via a twin lamp EVG.
Other wiring arrangements are available on request.

RIDI luminaires with this sign are produced to the appropriate mechanical and photometric standards demanded for sports hall lighting. They comply with ball-resistant safety requirements according to DIN 18032, part 3 and have been tested for that purpose by the MPA or VDE.
